Why Ranger?
The challenge of security and emergency preparedness has grown exponentially. Coupled with the continued threat of natural and technological hazards, the advent of terrorism within our shores has made this task even more complex. The people responsible for maintaining public safety and infrastructure must continually upgrade and develop new integrated emergency preparedness programs that adequately protect their facilities, employees, citizens, and patrons. Security and emergency preparedness require the coordinated application of available resources to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents and events. Ranger provides support to the public and private sectors and helps clients be responsive to local, regional, and national preparedness challenges by providing comprehensive assessment and planning services. Clients include state and municipal emergency management agencies; public assemblies such as arenas, convention/exhibition centers, and sporting venues; public/private schools and colleges/universities; and the transportation industry for roadways, rail, air, and sea. Ranger’s Security and Emergency Management practice specializes in the application of standards and program models formulated by agencies such as the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, Environmental Protection Agency, National Fire Protection Association, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
